Cervical Screening update – How you receive your results

From September, those who have a negative test result will be notified by an NHS app message , which will also appear as a notification within the app (if your notifications are turned on).If the message isn’t read within 72 hours a letter will be sent as a fail safe.

Abnormal results will continue to be sent via letter in the post.
