Appointments – we have currently suspended online appointment bookings for face to face appointments.
Please telephone 01684 773444 during surgery hours. You will offered a triage telephone call with a doctor or a clinician.
If the doctor does wish to see you for a face to face appointment they will book the appointment during the telephone consultation
Call recordings – Please be advised if you book a telephone consultation with a clinician calls are now recorded for training and monitoring purposes. If you do not wish for the call to be recorded please advise the receptionist when booking the appointment or advise the clinician at the beginning of the call.
Although you will be registered with one GP you are able to speak any GP in the practice. If you have been seeing a GP for a particular problem or a long standing medical condition it may be advisable to continue seeing the same

Home visits – Please call reception before 10.30am if possible
Requests for home visits made after this time will normally be dealt with the following day, except in emergencies.
Test Results and Specimens
If you are asked to provide a specimen, please bring it in the sterile leak-proof container that can be provided from reception. Please can we ask all samples are at reception before 4pm for dispatch to the laboratory. Please ensure the container is clearly labelled with your forename, surname and date of birth.
Test results are received throughout the day electronically . Once received the results can be viewed but, unless the GP has noted that they have seen them, they cannot be given out to the patient. Therefore, on occasion, if you telephone you may be told that the result has been received but not seen by the GP yet.
If your test results are normal and do not require any action, we will NOT normally contact you. If your test results are abnormal and require any action reception will contact you
If you are telephoning for results please help us by telephone between 12 and 3 pm.
Please leave at least 4 days before making inquiries.
Cervical cytology results (smears) will be posted to you. Please allow at least 4 weeks for these results to be received.
