  • order repeat prescriptions
  • see parts of your health record, including information about medicines, vaccinations and test results
  • see communications between your GP surgery and other services, such as hospitals

How to register for Online Services

If you have not used our online services before with Bredon Hill Surgery you will need to:

Come to the Surgery IN PERSON and provide photo ID so we can confirm your identity and the receptionist will then issue you with a username and password.

Or phone reception and we will go through data protection checks to set up an account.

Using your computer; go to Patient Access and enter your registration details provided to you.

After registering, you can log on with your username and password each time.

Access to medical records

Following a change in legislation (2023) new health information will be available you (unless you have decided to opt-out or any exceptions apply).

If you have online accounts such as through the NHS App you will be able to read new entries, including free text, in your health record.

This change only applies to future (prospective) record entries and not historic data.

This change to records access will only apply to people aged 16 years or older.

People with online accounts set up before their 16th birthday will receive access to records entered after their 16th birthday. These changes only apply to a person’s own records.

If you would like access to your records retrospectively:

Please read the information leaflets

Contact reception and advise the receptionist you wish to make a Subject Access Request (SAR).

We have to provide a full copy of your medical records, this will cover historical information.

The SAR will be processed through our third party supplier iGPR, who will check the records and then email the patient a copy.

This may take up 28 days to be completed.

For reasons of confidentiality, we cannot give registration details to anyone other than the patient and we do not offer internet appointments to patients under the age of 16 years.

If you are unable to add a message when requesting medication (using an ANDORID PHONE) please e-mail the dispensary with your message
