Breast Screening text message reminder service

This service will be an addition to the current appointment letter that will be received by those eligible for a screening mammogram every 3 years.

A first reminder will be sent 7 days prior to the appointment with the option to cancel or rebook the appointment.  This will be followed by a second reminder 2 days prior to the appointment (if a cancellation request hasn’t already be received). 

There will be the option to opt out of the reminders if the screening client contacts the Breast Screening Service to request this.
